The film Christmas Thieves Lands on mayor US tv platforms

November 15, 2021

All income from distribution rights go to ILBE

A result of an agreement with Fenix Entertainment, the film will also bring ILBE revenues from the related service activities (character licensing, production process and post production)

ILBE (Iervolino and Lady Bacardi Entertainment), a company listed on Euronext Growth Milan, announces that starting today the film Christmas Thieves, for which ILBE owns the distribution rights in the USA and Canada, will land on the major US platforms (Apple TV, Amazon, Vudu, Google, Comcast and Spectrum).

The film is positioned in a highly sought-after market segment combining live action and animation. It was produced by Fenix Entertainment, which sold ILBE the rights to all distribution revenues in Canada and the United States, from which ILBE expects to see returns in the coming years.

In addition to these, ILBE has already received income from its services related to the film, specifically the licensing of the animated characters from the movie Arctic Dogs (of which ILBE owns the Intellectual Properties), as well as production and post-production processes.

The film represents the debut of a new model of cooperation between ILBE and other production companies, a model that the company intends to replicate. In 2020 ILBE signed two such agreements with Fenix Entertainment, and two with the Minerva Pictures production company.

Christmas Thieves is a Christmas comedy for families and children directed by Francesco Cinquemani, starring popular actors such as Michael Madsen (Reservoir Dogs, Kill Bill, The Hateful Eight) and Tom Arnold, alongside characters from the animated web series Arctic Friends, produced by ILBE and available in more than 90 countries worldwide on Apple TV and Amazon Prime Video.
